Drive (Inspired by Incubus, the band)

It's more than just a catchy beat.

Well, yes! It's more than just a catchy beat and a guy who loves liquor and cars!

Here, 'Drive' is used as a metaphor for being self-reliant and taking control of life. It makes us realize that life makes better sense when we're the drivers of our own lives instead of letting other people, environment or situations decide our behavior, reactions and responses. Accepting is the first step towards growth.

'Drive' tells us that all others on the planet are 'being driven' instead of driving. It mentions, "vague haunting mass appeal" and "the way that everyone gets around" which means that most people aren't even aware of being controlled by their surroundings and that it's really common among humans. But it also mentions that lately, he has started finding that it's him that's got to take the 'wheel' and steer. If we don't take control of our lives, we go into auto-pilot mode in which our brain suggests us doing everything safe that's been tried and tested in the past.

We shit our lives down as we have no control over and when shit hits the fan, it's already too late to act. 'Drive' also tells to accept every obstacle with open heart and see it as a blessing. After all, it's the pain that elevates us. So, take control of your life, possessions, time and relations. Plan your day, cut off toxic people. Evolve, MF! There are hundreds of levels ahead in life. Welcome to CONSCIOUS LIVING!
