Being Our Own Saviors

I’ll be the guy who pushes himself down the hill, but I’d also be the one catching myself before I touch the ground.

We’re the creators of our own troubles. It’s a wise man’s trait to be responsible for all the adversities in our lives. Problems are uninvited guests who can knock our doors whenever they like. You don’t have the option to ask them to go away and come later. You have to deal with ‘em whether you’re capable at that moment or not. Problems don’t give a walrus’ ass about you. It’s your fucking duty to face them without complaining.

They say, "your enemies define you". Your problems are your enemies. Are you gonna let ‘em kick you down or you gonna go against all odds and beat ‘em up? You can’t be defeated by just a momentary failure, your parents’ divorce or a breakup, right? Your enemies gotta be strong!

As Mark Manson mentioned about Responsibility/Fault fallacy, we should be responsible for everything bad that happens to us. We shouldn’t be the ones who avoid problems by blaming it on someone else or cursing the sky daddy.
Just like the beautiful combination of 0s and 1s can create either a beautiful masterpiece or a shitload of buggy software while programming, our yays and nays while making decisions possess the same strength to either make our lives examples of excellence or completely destroy it. Always keep in mind, we’re the designers of your own catastrophes. Our decisions can fuck our lives up to an extent that it’s sometimes too late for people to turn it back to normal.

Yes, I will be the one fucking myself up; cause I’m still learning.. and progressing. I will make mistakes in life and drown myself deep down in water... to the place where there's no light. But also, I will be the one who provides a hand, picks himself up and dusts down the shoulders.

I appreciate my demons, for they provide me with the Fire. The fire that ignites anguish inside me. And that anguish will make me persist until I’m satisfied. I’ll push myself into danger, so I can learn to conquer my fears.  I have faith that I’ll surely catch myself before I hit the ground.
